Dr. Jurrens is a licensed psychologist with almost 30 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and mindfulness-based wellness practices. She is a graduate of Indiana State University, where she earned her PhD in Psychology, and Troy State University where she was awarded a Master of Science in Counseling. She completed her post-doctoral work in gifted education and school-based neuropsychology in Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Throughout her career, Dr. Jurrens has worked in private practice, community agencies, and Universities.
Dr. Jurrens is particularly experienced with early childhood, ADHD and executive functioning, social developmental differences such as Autism, learning and developmental disabilities, differential diagnosis, home-school collaboration and Special Education consultation, bariatric and other elective surgery evaluations, military suitability and clearance evaluations, and mindfulness-based well-being practices such as yoga, meditation and breathwork. Whether parents are seeking clarity about a child’s development or learning, a client wants to gain understanding of their emotions or identity, is navigating college or career transitions, or is seeking to explore their values and align their goals, Dr. Jurrens works collaboratively on customized and comprehensive evaluations, and offers practical and personalized insights that empower clients to build on their strengths, and access the support they need to thrive.
Outside of work, Dr. Jurrens is committed to service in her community, specifically supporting food security, and enjoys spending time with her family and close friends, reading, traveling, yoga, and cooking.

Ms. Stephanie Waterhouse is a Registered Psychology Associate in Maryland with years of experience in a variety of settings. She specializes in adults who have experienced trauma and has been trained in Trauma-Focused CBT.
Ms. Waterhouse has experience treating individuals with disordered personality traits, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, and substance use disorders as well as individuals with a history of self-harm and suicidal ideation.
She has provided testing services to evaluate for personality disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, and Autism for adult and older adolescent clients.
Her background has also made her an effective special education advocate and her advocacy efforts have resulted in significant policy and funding changes within a large school system.

Kitty Martin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and doctoral candidate with specialized training in pediatric neuropsychology.
She provides neuropsychological, developmental, autism, and psychoeducational evaluations to children, adolescents, and young adults. She is especially knowledgeable in issues of early childhood.
As part of her doctoral training, Kitty completed pre-doctoral externships in pediatric and developmental neuropsychology at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. She is completing another pediatric neuropsychological externship at University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Jess De Leon is a bilingual practitioner (English/Spanish) who is passionate about caring for her clients in a holistic manner which emphasizes all aspects of individuals. Working in school, university, and outpatient settings with clients of all ages, she aims to provide authentic, empathetic, and culturally competent care to her client population that is supportive and non-judgmental.
Jess has prior experiences working with numerous client demographics with a vast range of psychological conditions and experiences including Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Identity Development, Grief and Loss, and more.
Jess strongly believes that no individual is like the other, which strongly informs her integrative approach to therapy. Her approach to therapy centers the person and is tailored to the needs of each person. This custom treatment is informed by psychodynamic, systems, humanistic, person-centered, relational, and interpersonal techniques. Her goal in therapy is to provide a space where clients feel heard, seen, and safe to build a therapeutic relationship and collaborate on ways to determine reasons for specific behaviors/beliefs and work towards healing and growth.
